Ayla is a 1-2 year old Aussie. We're not sure if she's a mix or not,
but she doesn't care either way! Ayla is a red merle with extra
white. She has been shaved down, so is a bit silly looking right
now. Ayla does have a natural length tail. She has one upright and
one dropped ear.
Ayla is very good in the house and is house trained. She is quiet
in her crate and crates willingly. Ayla is fine with the other dogs
and cat in her foster home. She has been fine with kids as well.
Ayla is spayed and current on her vet cares. She is ready for a
new home now. Her adoption fee is 200.00. Feel free to fill out an
application at
www.safesanctuary.org.

Brando is a wonderful, loving 3 year old min pin. He is just an all
around great little guy! Brando loves to cuddle on the couch or in
the bed under the covers with you. He can be funny and playful, but
is usually laid back. He barks very little and he enjoys going for
walks. He will play with toys after he feels comfortable, and does
not chew anything inappropriate. Brando has been very good with the
other dogs and would probably do best in a home with another dog to
play with. He didn't appear to be interested in the cat he met.
Brando seems to like everyone if they give him a little space and a
few minutes for him to adjust to them,. although should probably not
live with small children due to his slow adjustment. Brando is house
trained, crate trained (but doesn't like it or need it) neutered,
microchipped and current on vaccinations. His adoption fee is
225.00. Feel free to fill out an application at
www.safesanctuary.org.

Lucas is a 2 to 3 yr old purebred Jack Russell with very short legs
(an Irish Shorty). Lucas is a good natured, independent, inquisitive
guy. He is extremely cute, quiet most of the time, and likes to join
you on the couch or bed without being needy. Lucas loves a good game
of tug of war, having his back scratched, and going for walks. He
gets along well with the other dogs and has been good with the
grandkids in his foster home. Because he does like to sneak out the
door to go explore, we are looking for a home with either a fenced
yard or without young kids that would open the door for him. Lucas
is house trained, crate trained, neutered, current on vaccinations
and microchipped. His adoption fee is 200.00. Feel free to fill out
an application at
www.safesanctuary.org. Phone: 507-331-4557 |

A little about our program: Most of our dogs come from impound facilities where, if we didn't take them, they would be euthanized. The dogs come to us, are vaccinated, wormed, altered, and bathed right away. We then introduce the dogs to the rest of our fosters. The dogs live in our house with us, they are not kept in kennels, they are family members. We work on training them house manners, housebreaking, crate training, walking on leashes, and basic obedience. We do fall in love with them and sometimes we cry when they get adopted. Most of the tears are happy tears. We know where they came from and seeing them go to great forever homes is very rewarding. We do know our dogs very well, they do love us and trust us. If you want a fantastic dog check out the crew, email us, call us, ask questions, we can tell you all about them!!
